Runes are an ancient alphabet of Germanic and Nordic tribes. Each Rune represents a symbol that has a special meaning. They are used as oracles (for divination) and reach deep into our subconscious.
The runes in the set are from the Elder Futhark, which consists of 24 characters and is the oldest form of the runic alphabets. It was used mainly by North Germanic tribes, which is why it is also called Germanic Futhark.
Runes have always been an incredible system for divination. Through them, priests received vital signs and advice from the higher dimensions of existence to help them navigate through that dimension’s reality.
From the very beginning, each of the twenty-four signs of the runic alphabet had its name. Initially, these characters represented timeless concepts and ideas. Later, people added more “earthly” symbolism and meanings to them.
